| Description | Bharat Petroleum is one of the largest companies marketing petroleum products in India. Bharat’s aviation business sector is an independent strategic business unit. Bharat Petroleum provides into-plane service of jet fuel (Jet A-1) at 23 international and strategically located domestic airports in India. Quality systems at major international airports are ISO 9001-2000 accredited. With international airlines contributing 50% of their total market share, Bharat Petroleum is known as "Fuellers to the Leading Airlines of the World" with focused customer service standards. Bharat Petroleum has implemented SAP - ERP system (enterprise version) to get real time information on all transactions and the processes direct from the airports. They have extended the real-time data to their customers through E-Biz portal and they are one of the first oil companies in India to provide EDI to their airline customers as well as implementing XML delivery tickets (in line with IATA) to their customers. Bharat Petroleum can also provide value added services in the area of aviation fuel in the design, development and construction of aviation fuelling facilities. The services include hydrant systems, upgrading of facilities, maintenance and operation of aviation fuelling facilities, organising and conducting third party quality audits / operations audits, assistance in design and fabrication of aviation refuellers / dispensers / equipments, onsite training on all aspects of jet fuel business at their major hydrant locations. |
