Purpose
Strategic Partners will be invited to provide technical input regarding current and future Communications, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) technologies and support the development of positions and papers that can accelerate the work under the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
Air Traffic Management / Communications Navigation Surveillance Strategic Partnerships Summary
With double digit traffic growth, long haul flights, and new generation aircraft, Air Traffic Management (ATM) needs to be efficient, globally harmonized and interoperable to achieve on-time operations, predictability, and low carbon footprint. IATA works with its member airlines, industry stakeholders, international organizations and ICAO to develop global ATM standards and to accelerate the implementation of operational improvements enabled by CNS technologies.
